The James Project is a local non-profit that recruits and supports dedicated foster parents, through the provision of homes and services. One of the ways we help (and the division of The James Project that I work with) is through The Closet 1:27. When a child is placed with a new foster family, sometimes they just have the clothes they are wearing. Closet 1:27 provides clothing, underwear, shoes, diapers, hygiene items, beds and bedding to these children, as State vouchers often take weeks to arrive.
The mission of The James project recruits and supports dedicated foster parents through the provision of homes and services. Their vision is being dedicated to living out Christ’s vision to care for displaced children in the community by assisting foster parents to create secure and loving homes for all children in need.
